The focus of student life at the Birmingham School of Art begins with the newly renovated social space at our Margaret Street building.

Here you can relax and make full use of the opportunities provided by a School populated with over 450 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students.

We deliver a range of professional and social events where work is displayed and discussed while you enjoy the company of your fellow artists. 

Our twice-monthly Open Art Night features a showcase of work from students at all levels and courses.

You can also sit back and enjoy a range of movies on Film Night, and there are always plenty of fundraising events and other parties to attend and enjoy in the heart of Birmingham.
