Lily Savill

Lily is the Senior Technician for ceramics and plaster based at the Parkside building. She graduated from Central St Martins in 2017 with a BA in Ceramic Design and has since gained a variety of experiences working in design studios, for ceramic artists, within production ceramics and completing artist residencies.

More recently she has been self-employed, working from her studio back home in Norfolk making and selling work at local markets and collaborating with other ceramic makers as a process advisor/ mould maker.

As well as being self-employed she worked as head technician and teacher at a ceramic studio within Adult Education. Her main passions within ceramics are with plater model/ mould making and ceramic surface design, specifically slip application. She enjoys bringing her skills and experience to the workshops and collaborating within the different workshops.
