Andrew Kulman has taught at Brighton University, University of Westminster, Kingston University, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, SHAPE (Hong Kong), SUIC Bangkok. Andrew has lectured and given workshops at over 25 art colleges and universities.
He has written about contemporary Illustration practice, new developments in graphic novels and art and design pedagogy.
Practice based research and assessment in art schools.
Andrew has supervised postgraduate and doctoral students through to completion. He is currently the director of studies for the first horological PhD in the UK. Andrew is also a much sought after External Examiner and has to date examined at over 10 UK universities.

Andrew has featured on the BBC, and in many magazines, including Sunday Times, Financial Times, New Scientist, Atlantic Journal, Vogue, Elle. He is has worked for major publishers, Jonathan Cape, Penguin Books, Bloomsbury, Picador and in America, Farrar, Strauss and Giroux and Simon and Schuster.
He has exhibited widely in UK and Europe and has work in National collections including the V&A art collection and the Tate collection of prints. He was selected for the 3rd International Egyptian Print Triennial. He is a regular exhibitor at the Royal College of Art (RCA Secret) and has exhibited in the Association of Illustrators and European Illustration awards.
He is the recipient of numerous industry awards, D&AD (consumer poster), WH Smith award for editorial, Vogue Sotheby award, V&A award for publishing.
