Andy Denness-Hulland
Lecturer of Illustration
Andy is an experienced commercial illustrator, exhibiting artist and creative educator. With a determined interest in experimental analogue processes informing creative decisions and learning, his initial career as a solo practitioner has evolved through making connections with people, running workshops and teaching.
With several years’ experience as an outstanding secondary and A-level art and design teacher, Andy has a steadfast passion in guiding students to find their own creative voices.
Over the last 15 years, Andy has worked on a wide range of commercial commissioned illustration projects for a variety of international clients. With a belief in lifelong learning, he has continued to evolve his own studio practice as an endeavour to discover as much about materials and processes, as himself and his own inspirations.
