After graduating from Northumbria University, Newcastle in BA (Hons) Advertising & Graphic Design, Christopher Morris was employed as an Art Director for several London agencies; Lowe Howard-Spink/Horseman Cooke, The Unknown Partnership & D4.
As Art Director, Christopher worked on accounts for Boots, M&S, James Capel, Financial Times, Britvic, JPS, Virgin, Mappin & Webb, Beggars Banquet and Phonogram, designing brand identities for City Beat, Global Village and XL Recordings.
Christopher has completed the MA Communication Design course at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in Art Direction. He has worked as a lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University before accepting a full-time post at The University of Salford, where he wrote the highly acclaimed BA (Hons) Advertising programme. Leading a dedicated staff team, the course received 100% student satisfaction along with consistent successes at YCN, Roses, DADI, Creative Pioneers and D&AD - winning Yellow Pencils across a range of categories, including Viral, Integrated, Online and Open Advertising, Applied Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Copywriting.
Christopher's work has been exhibited at The Golden Gallery: Soho Square, The Righton Gallery: MMU, Dry Bar: Manchester, Fusion - Visionfest: LJMU, and has been featured in Computer Arts Magazine and The Guardian.
Christopher is an external examiner for BA Creative Practice at Staffordshire University.

Christopher also works as admissions and dissertation tutor.
He is also involved in a variety of other activities, including arranging delivery of live briefs through his agency contacts, and arranging visits to agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Brash Brands, Dentsu, AKQA, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, Clear Channel.
Christopher has won two categories at the Solent Teaching and Recognition Awards (STAR) for 'outstanding contribution to teaching' and 'the provision of support for students'.
At BCU Christopher Morris has been nominated for Inspirational Teacher of the Year and Personal Tutor of the Year.
Current research projects involve the analysis of effective creative content within outdoor advertising. Christopher Morris is a member of D&AD, a fellow of the RSA and has completed several external examiner posts and validation roles
