Gareth Courage

Gareth is an experienced educator, illustrator and designer.

He has over 15 years of experience devising, designing and delivering creative learning projects for compulsory education and arts-based organisations. These have been produced in various settings across the UK and have involved participant-led outcomes as diverse as psychogeographical maps, newspaper poetry, interactive historical timelines and collage-based illustration.

Gareth specialises in designing and illustrating art-based practice with a particular interest in performance and sound for experimental, small scale companies and practitioners. He has produced larger scale work for Arts Council England National Portfolio clients including Flatpack Projects, The Royal Shakespeare Company and Stans Cafe Theatre, and been awarded Arts Council funding for his self-devised projects.
