Elizabeth graduated with a First Class BA Honours degree from De Montfort University in Fashion and Contour Design. Her final major project focused on combining sportswear and swimwear in a collection of garments aimed at a girl travelling all over the world on her “Sabbatical”.

With over ten years in industry, she began her career designing football and rugby kits for clubs worldwide such as Northampton Saints and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

Liz later transitioned to one of the UK's largest supermarkets designing ladies lingerie, nightwear and swimwear. She used her illustration handwriting to develop the novelty range within the nightwear for special occasions to improve sales.

Moving on Liz then progressed to become Design Manager for a corporate wear company designing uniforms for many household airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, Easyjet and Tui. She successfully won many tenders to produce corporate clothing both formal and casual depending upon the customers brief. Liz held many focus groups to encourage the wearers' feedback to inspire the wearers receiving the new range. She collaborated with many brand agencies to make sure the uniforms were brand specific, as well as travelling abroad to fabric fairs, supplier meetings, tender pitches and factory visits to oversee audits and production.

Her corporate wear designs won many awards at the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW Ltd) for HSBC, Nationwide, Barclays, Virgin Atlantic and Easyjet.

A creative enthusiastic lecturer who works to create a positive working environment for all students to excel. I believe fashion has the power to connect cultures globally through sartorial communication. I love to combine my joy for fashion and travel within my practice.
