Aimee joined BCU in March 2023 as a photography technician, supporting students across the photographic studios, processing room and darkroom. Her skillset and main areas of interest encompassing analogue practices including large and medium format, darkroom printing and bookbinding as well as studio practices and digital methods.

Aimee works full time at BCU alongside continuing her photographic and self publishing practice. She has been exhibited in galleries including Photo Fusion and Common Ground, her work has been published with concrete nature studio and she has collaborated with Three Shires Publishing producing the imagery for a memoir ‘a Wolverhampton girl’.

Aimee’s personal works focuses on observing the cyclical nature of our experiences, drawing attention to the small moments that often go unnoticed. Her work explores our sense of place and the meaning of home, examining how nature often encourages us to return to these thoughts. She has self published two artist’s books ‘like silent seeds grow’ and ‘on common ground’.
