Steven Chamberlain is a lecturer in film and animation. Steven trained as a painter at Central Saint Martins and continued painting for a number of years before becoming a multimedia designer and artist, creating interactive audio visual, installations and projection events. 

Steven has over a decade experience of teaching at University within many disciplines. He began teaching at BCU on the Animation for Games BA, moved to the Film and Animation BA and the Visual Communication MA. 

Steven formed Sellotape Cinema in 2008 with artist and fabricator Stephen Snell. Sellotape cinema creates hand-made films and experimental documentaries using found sound and footage, repurposed obsolete audio-visual equipment and multiscreen projections. 

Steven is currently pursuing a PhD and has in production a feature length essay film.
