Meet Jack, a BCU graphic design student whose creativity knows no limits. From paintings to portraits, graffiti to art murals, Jack's passion has been widely recognised by BCU, earning him a notable role as the painter for the new RBC Acting site in Digbeth.
BCU Graphic Design student Jack was comissioned to create a an art piece that reflects both Digbeth's vibrant street art scene and the RBC's new Acting Site.
As a BA Graphic Design student, Jack has honed his skills in working with clients and delivering projects that align with brand guidelines. His lecturers have also recognised his talent, offering valuable advice and support both for his university assignments and personal projects outside of university.
"We came up with this idea of a film set, I took inspiration from a few different images and molded them together. It's meant to be based around theatre, and the idea of a play".
With the success of this project, Jack is already looking toward future opportunities, when asked about his next milestone, Jack responded:
"I'd like to travel and paint, paint all up and down the country and perhaps abroad as well. Definitely would love to get comissioned to just do what I want really."
Through this mural, Jack has not only left his mark on Digbeth but has also cemented his position as a key figure in Birmingham's evolving art scene. Jack’s work is a perfect example of how creativity, community, and craftsmanship can come together to produce something exceptional.
