HackTheMidlands is a 24-hour hackathon hosted at our City Centre Campus  in Millennium Point. The event is a chance for people to come together to test their skills, share ideas and create new technological projects. 

7. Birmingham Tech Week

Birmingham Tech Week is the city's premier technology event, celebrating the city's tech industry and fostering collaboration. In the latest edition, the event featured 68 different sessions across the city, focusing on a range of topics from AI and data science to fintech and digital health. 

8. Entrepreneurs believe in tech

In the Midlands, 61% of entrepreneurs view technology as a core driver of their business. This strong demand for tech solutions presents a wealth of opportunities for computing students to work with startups, offer tech support, and even develop custom solutions for new businesses.
