Project management
During your modules you’ll be managing several projects and tasks and will also have the option to undertake a placement year. To do this successfully you'll be required to plan and organise constructively, as well as being able to execute and deliver the project requirements to complete the job. Project management supplies you with the ability to be autonomous, communicate effectively and to successfully manage relationships with people in an organisation.
Creativity
The Built Environment School teaches students to be creative with new developments. The industry allows you to be inventive with designs and ideas. Creativity is essential in allowing you to become more innovative and sharpen your critical perspective.
Team working
This is a vital skill that demonstrates to your future employer your interpersonal skills and ability to work with others. Your team working skills will develop by collaborating with fellow students from diverse backgrounds. This is a valuable skill that will be used in your day-to-day life as well as in your studies.
