Architectural Technology
Architectural Technologists are the science behind the design of a building or structure, ensuring a building is designed for its use and performance. Once you graduate, you can work as an Architectural Technologist where you'd work closely with architects and other building professionals to create concepts and technical designs to create sustainable and inclusive buildings and environments which are fit for purpose. BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology is accredited by the CIAT and CIOB.
Construction Management
Efficient and organised? Construction Managers effectively manage the work-load of building projects, ensuring they are finished in line with the client’s requirements, on budget and on time. You’ll plan budgets and schedules and liaise with subcontractors and building owners to ensure smooth delivery. Working on site, you’ll supervise and direct site managers to ensure that quality, safety and cost standards are met throughout. BSc (Hons) Construction Management is accredited by CIOB and RICS.
Quantity Surveying
The accountants of the built environment, Quantity Surveyors manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. They seek to minimise costs while also enhancing value for money and longevity in structures. BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying is accredited by CIOB and RICS and has been designed to teach you to manage all costs from initial calculations to final figures. Our graduates have progressed into roles at companies like Gleeds, Interserve and John Murrary & Sons Ltd as Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Commercial Managers.
Real Estate
As a real estate professional, you’ll develop an eye for seeing potential in land and property as a financial asset. You’ll deal with the management, purchase, sale or leasing of land and property, as well as valuing and surveying these assets. BSc (Hons) Real Estate is accredited by the RICS and will prepare you to work in this exciting, dynamic industry as a real estate investor, residential or commercial appraiser or even a property manager. Our students have secured jobs with companies like IP Global, Lambert Smith Hampton and CBRE.
