Automotive Engineering

This course is designed to prepare you for a career in the fast-paced automotive industry, which is undergoing a major transformation towards electric and hybrid vehicles. You'll gain the skills to design, develop, test, and improve all aspects of modern cars. In this course, there is an emphasis on project-based learning, where you'll work in teams on real-world projects, from initial design to implementation. You'll also have the chance to learn from industry experts and potentially join the BCU Formula Student racing team, getting hands-on experience building a racing car.

Biomedical Engineering (also known as bioengineering) is a discipline of engineering that interacts with the human body. You will develop and apply innovative skills in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of medical equipment and devices. On completing our course, you could go on to work in specialist areas such as assistive technology, rehabilitation, medical imaging and robotics, physiology monitoring, cardiopulmonary engineering, m-health and e-health, orthopaedic implants and regenerative medicine/ tissue engineering.
