Five ways you can learn more about our faculty

Joining us soon? You may not know much about the Health, Education and Life Sciences (HELS) faculty just yet. Here are five ways you can learn about us and prepare yourself before starting your course.

1. Read our blogs

Our blog sites host a wide range of content, from student and staff interviews and stories, updates on ongoings throughout the school, insights into students undertaking their placements, general tips and advice that will be useful for your course, and much more. Each school has a dedicated blog, so you can find exactly what you’re looking for with ease:

2. Follow our social media pages

Keep up to date with what we are doing in the easiest way by following our social media pages. Check out this Instagram page managed by our HELS Graduate Student Success Advisors too, who are here to support you during your studies.

3. Check out our YouTube channel

The BCU YouTube channel is home to a wide range of content, including videos focusing on HELS content – check them out on this playlist. Here you will find tips, advice, course overviews, and facility and campus tours amongst other helpful content.

We also have a YouTube channel ran by our student vloggers called Life at BCU. Here you will hear straight from students that are currently studying with us, giving helpful advice on topics such as accommodation, preparing for your course, wellbeing, and revision tips.

For example, if you wanted to find out more about our facilities across the faculty, you can watch this video.

4. View our I AM BCU stories

We’re constantly championing our students and alumni, which is what the I AM BCU campaign is all about. We have a diverse, talented, confident community of individuals who have shaped their dream careers throughout their time at BCU, and their stories are truly inspiring. Read some of our I AM BCU stories.
