BCU’s BSc Psychology Course is accredited by the British Psychological Society, providing a crucial step towards becoming a chartered psychologist.
Coupled with this our Psychology facilities have been modernised to ensure that our students are given the best possible chance to succeed on the course. The department is home to a state of the art BPS computer lab with specialised software, this enables students to conduct advanced data analysis, richer quantitative research and experimental simulation. Students can choose to undertake a yearlong professional placement as a part of their course with different organisations like West Midlands Police, local schools and youth mentoring services around the city of Birmingham.
