We spoke to Sue during her first year to find out what it had been like:

Sue's day

7.15am

After driving in, I arrive in Birmingham and meet up with some fellow Social Work students for morning coffee at Philpotts, before taking a 20-minute stroll into uni.

7.45am

I arrive at uni and meet up with more students for a catch-up before classes start.

8.50am

Quick chat with tutors as they wander past to start their day, then it’s off to class ready to start at 9am.

11am

Head to The Social Kitchen, the Students’ Union café bar at City South campus, for an early lunch.

12pm

Back to class, and then on to the library for group work.

2pm

Classes are finished for the day, but it’s back to the library for me so I can grab some books before I begin the journey home.
