Emma added, “Our Built Environment students are ambassadors for the University, and site visits give them the opportunity and ability to shine within the industry before they leave us to enter the world of work.”
Colby Woodall, a Built Environment student, has been taking part in site visits as part of his course and had this to say:
“Visiting sites is a motivating experience and has helped me realise how soon I’ll be working in industry and experiencing exciting working opportunities. The conversations I’ve had with professionals has given me valuable insights into the industry.”
