Sonya has been Deputy Head of the Law School (Academic Programme Development), School Quality Lead and previously has held various course leadership responsibilities within the Law School.
Sonya became College Academic Lead for Employability in 2023.
Sonya has been a member of various Faculty and University Committees, including the cross-disciplinary working groups which created the University’s employability award, Graduate + in 2018 and the University’s Assessment Centre in 2019.
Sonya is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and is an Advance HE accredited External Examiner.
Sonya is undertaking the Professional Doctorate in Education at the University of Nottingham.
