Dr Chunyang Liang

Chunyang obtained her PhD from Coventry University, where her doctoral research centred on the second language acquisition and literacy development of English-language learners. She also holds a keen interest in assessing the effectiveness of English intervention programmes for English learners, with a particular focus on Chinese-English bilinguals.

Before joining Birmingham City University, Chunyang taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, primarily focusing on developmental and educational psychology, at several institutions.
