Matthew Kimberley

Matt joined BCU in 2023 and currently teaches across a variety of modules on undergraduate psychology courses. Matt’s motivation for becoming an academic and conducting research stemmed from completing a voluntary research assistantship during their undergraduate degree. I currently co-lead the voluntary research assistantship scheme at BCU.

Matt’s PhD research focused on the examination of factors which can predict the likelihood of disclosing a sexual fantasy to an intimate partner. Moving forward Matt’s research upcoming research will explore sexualities, sexual health, and sex education.
