Yvonne Kennedy

Yvonne Kennedy was a manager in the National Probation Service before commencing an academic post in Criminology. Before joining BCU in 2023, Yvonne taught in three Universities delivering undergraduate and post-graduate courses.

 Yvonne has worked on several research projects for various agencies within the Criminal Justice System. These include exploring ‘Digital Court Reform’ for the National Youth Justice Board, and a project commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, West Midlands, focusing on the implementation of the West Midlands Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP) which commenced in 2017.

Current research interest relates to the management of prolific sex offenders within the community
