What is Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

Continuing Professional Development (sometimes known as Continuous Professional Development) is delivered across BCU’s four academic faculties. Credits gained from our CPD courses can be used to help you achieve a recognised industry accreditation or support your career progression.

A Birmingham City University CPD course could be delivered in one of three ways - face to face on campus, online, or a hybrid mix of the two. BCU offers CPD courses in a variety of industry fields including:
