Raouf’s primary research areas are wireless communications and networking, with a particular focus on developing robust wireless network monitoring and evaluation tools that exhibit high level of analytics automation and adaptability to network complexities. This includes the exploration of new techniques to measure the quality of experience of multimedia streaming and quality of service for computer vision applications.
He is also interested in quantifying the limits of NOMA (Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access) technology by studying its applications and capabilities in response to new and stringent user demands, including mMTC and URLLC.
