Dr Mebrahitom Asmelash

Dr Mebrahitom is an academician and researcher in the fields of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. He is currently working as lecturer in the College of Engineering at Birmingham City University (BCU).

Before Joining BCU, he was a research fellow at the Aerospace Research Integration Centre (ARIC) in Cranfield University. He was part of the on the 'Out of Cycle Next Generation Highly Efficient Air Transport' (ONEheart) Project, which is led by Airbus. He was mainly focusing on the Socio-Technical Modelling of Sustainable air transport systems. Besides that, he was also senior lecturer in the Faculty Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering (FKP), University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia.

He published several research articles in an internationally peer reviewed journals and accomplished successfully research projects as Principal Investigator (PR) and as co researcher. He is Chartered Engineer and Member of Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK.
