AI for Data Analytics

This course will help you take your first steps into the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will improve your skills by using advanced principles of data analytics in order to create comprehensive insights which support fact-driven decision-making.

Overview

AI for Data Analytics provides an introduction to a variety of data analysis modes and practical examples of how Machine Learning (and its even more sophisticated cousin Deep Learning) can uncover valuable commercial insights from the information you have at your disposal. The skills you will learn represent an important forward step in your AI journey.

The course is designed in order that no prior programming knowledge is required, although some basic understanding of data analysis would be useful.

  • Create and evaluate your own Machine Learning models.

  • Explore specialist architectures to create your own Deep Learning model.

Course in depth

This is a blended course. This means that there will be live tutorial sessions delivered online to inform and build your skills, and these are augmented with assignment activities to be completed in your own time.

The course is divided into three main units - Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Each unit is divided into theory and practical sections. Learners are expected to have completed the theory content for each unit prior to commencing the relevant practical session.

This course does not contain any formal assessment element but upon successfully attending and completing the course in its entirety, you will be awarded an official BCU Certificate of Achievement.
