Our network

The Digi-Doc project is led by Birmingham City University and the project team builds on five years of successful collaboration, supported by the British Council in Vietnam, between three partner universities in Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE), Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), and Vietnam National University, University of Education (VNU - UEd).

Digi-Doc extends the reach, expertise and experience of this collaboration bringing in new partners from China and Indonesia that have a focus on teacher education, including the Northeast Normal University, China (NENU) and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Our institutions share a commitment to widening access to research and doctoral study for practising teachers looking to address ‘real world’ educational challenges through ‘close to practice’ research.

Digi-Doc is a collaborative project within which all six collaborating partner organisations will play a full and active part in each workstream. Partners will work together to share knowledge, skills and experience and to co-produce the content and pedagogies for a new EdD-I programme.
