Kirsty Patel
Kirsty qualified as a diagnostic radiographer from Derby University in 2011 and completed her postgraduate qualification in Mammography Practice in 2015. Kirsty’s clinical experience in the NHS ranges from general radiography, training and development, and breast imaging and screening. Kirsty joined BCU in 2021 as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant.
Kirsty is currently studying for her PhD which incorporates her interests of qualitative methodology, clinical radiography education, and knowledge mobilisation.
In her assistant lecturer role, Kirsty participates in teaching for various modules across the faculty and supervises both undergraduate and master’s students.
Kirsty is also a member of the Knowledge-to-Care research cluster at BCU.
