Halima Khan

Halima qualified as a Children’s Nurse in 2011 at The University of Northampton, her nursing career has been varied and she had the opportunity to work in the following areas, Paediatric Assessment Unit, General Paediatric ward, A&E, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Community Nursing. Whilst working in Community nursing she was also a nurse educator delivering teaching sessions in hospitals & educational settings to colleagues and junior staff members, she was also responsible for managing student placements within the Community setting. Halima joined Birmingham City University as a Casual worker in June 2021 delivering teaching sessions to nursing students on a variety of subjects eventually joining as an Assistant Lecturer in January 2022. As an Assistant Lecturer she will be teaching module NUR4031 What is nursing for Year one nursing students.
