Waheeda Zaman

Waheeda is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Children and Young People’s Health Birmingham City University. She joined the University in September 2020 and has since been a part of the teaching team covering various modules across the undergraduate and postgraduate nursing course.

Waheeda’s clinical nursing background relates to surgery with particular focus on paediatric neurosurgery and high dependency care.

She has always had a keen interest and passion for educating and empowering student nurses to help them thrive and become the best possible nurses they can be both clinically and academically.
