Dr Jane Powell

Jane is joint programme leader for Transforming and Leading in Health Care. She is project lead for external projects within the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences, more recently for NIHR WoundTec Health Technology Cooperative. Jane is a member of Women Leading Education Research Interest Group.

Jane joined the University in 2017 prior to this she was Associate Director Clinical Operations for a private wound care company. Responsible for developing clinical and information governance systems and processes. Jane has held several consultative roles. Her clinical background is in Cardiology, she has held senior regional roles, and been a member of national task force for coronary heart disease. Jane has also developed educational courses on Health Workforce Demand and Supply on behalf of the World Health Organisation.
