Sarah Redfern

A proud graduate of BCU and an experienced senior nurse whose speciality is children’s liver and small bowel disease. Education has always been a focus of Sarah’s career pathway and really took hold when she became the Teaching Sister for the busy high dependency ward. This naturally progressed into the role as lead for the development and facilitation of education for Bands 1-4 within her Trust. The development of this role meant that she was awarded a Star Award in the Trust’s annual staff awards.

Sarah is passionate about ensuring excellence in teaching and learning in the School, with a specific focus on enhancing and developing assessment and feedback practices.
