Úna Kerin
Úna is an Associate Professor in Nursing and Midwifery at Birmingham City University. Úna trained as a general nurse at the National University of Ireland Galway and later undertook specialist postgraduate courses in emergency nursing and clinical education.
Úna has extensive experience designing and delivering educational content on a diverse range of nursing topics. Úna has a wide range of research interests including care of the older person, nurse education and emergency nursing.
Una is a member of the Knowledge to Care Research Cluster and Faculty Academic Ethics Committee within Health, Education, and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University. Una has held leadership roles within the College of Nursing and Midwifery including Interim Head of Dame Ellen Musson Department of Adult Nursing and most recently Head of Dame Edith Cavell Department of Adult Nursing.
