Tim Leary

Tim is a Senior Lecturer who has been involved with the teaching and development of the BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy degree at Birmingham City University since it started in 2017. He has considerable experience of course development and teaching having taught on two previous Sports Therapy degree programmes since 2005. He is a course tutor and teaches across the degree programme.

Tim is a practising musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience in the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and management of sports and exercise related injuries. He has worked full time in professional sport as the Team Physiotherapist to a County Cricket Club and has worked in professional basketball as well as within amateur sport, private practice and the NHS.

Tim has a broad experience and love of sport and has competed Internationally. He enjoys playing club cricket when it’s not raining!
