Next steps after submitting your application

Once you've submitted an application is may take up to three weeks for us to review it, during our busier months, or if you've submitted an application late, this may take even longer. Once you've received an offer from us, these are the next steps you need to take.

Studying your PhD as an international student

If you’re made a conditional offer, we may ask you to submit evidence that your English language skills are of an appropriate standard or that you’ve achieved expected grades in your exams.

If you’re studying in the UK for less than six months, you may need a ‘Short-term study visa’. More information is available from the GOV.UK website

To ensure a smooth process, we recommend you follow these steps:

1. Submit your final documents

Log in to the Applicant Portal.

2. Pay your deposit - £4000 for September 2024 and 50% of your tuition fees for January 2025 onward*

There are two ways to pay.

3. Let us know you've paid*

Drop us an email to let us know you've paid. We'll get you your CAS in five working days.

4. Submit your financial documents

You'll need to submit your financial evidence and provide a scan of your financial statements, showing that you can meet the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Student Visa requirements.
