What our students say...
Marini Ramlan, BA (Hons) Visual Communication
“Visual Communication helped me see things in a different perspective. I had the ability to assess why certain TV shows worked for certain demographics by analysing its production quality and content. I’m happy to say that I’ve always been able to apply what I’ve learned in Visual Communication to a lot of my work – from producing TV shows to developing concepts and events. I would say Visual Communication was the most relevant course I could have taken, as it helped me move with the times better.”

What our students say...
Normala Jaya, MSc Management and International Business
“Being an international student, I was nervous about attending Birmingham City University, but from the very first day I found all the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The University provides a special place for students to practise their own religion, and I found the facilities to be incredibly resourceful. The lecturers are very dedicated and approachable, and inspired me to succeed. The University’s continuing development and renovation makes me very excited, and I always include the University in my list of places to see when I make my annual visit to the United Kingdom. The course has certainly helped me, as did the lecturers. I learned a lot of new skills and an approach which could improve my career.”
