Birmingham also has many of your home comforts including mosques, regional supermarkets and restaurants and a very active Students Union. We are home to football teams including West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Birmingham City FC, and you can join as many of our sports teams or societies as you wish.
Birmingham has its very own international airport which is located a 10 minute train journey from our City Centre Campus. Modern, safe and perfectly located on-campus accommodation is available to all international students on a first-come, first-served basis. On your first day our airport pickup team will meet you at the airport and take you to your chosen University accommodation.
Undergraduate courses
We are happy to consider 5 subjects Grade A - C at the Cambridge Certificate of Education Level PLUS relevant UCAS points from Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate/ General Certificate of Education Advanced Level.
Postgraduate courses
We are happy to consider the Bachelor degree with minimum classification of Class II division II. Holders of a Class III or pass degree will qualify for the 18 months MBA/ MSc Management course.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate Art and Design courses require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate courses in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require Mathematics minimum of Grade C at O Level or the equivalent
