Undergraduate
We are happy to consider Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) level/Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) with grade of 1 - 6 PLUS Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC)/ Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with the relevant tariff points.
Postgraduate
We are happy to consider the Bachelor Degree with minimum Class Iiii / Honours lower/ GPA 3.0 - 3.9 / B.
Some postgraduate courses require a subject specific undergraduate degree to qualify for entry for example, Law, Computing, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc. Please check the website for this information.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate courses in the art and design Schools require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate programmes in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require Mathematics minimum of Grade C at O Level or the equivalent

Scholarship News
We are offering partial scholarships for courses delivered in Birmingham City Business School and Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment faculties at the following rates:

- Applicants must be granted an unconditional offer and submitted your £1,500 deposit.
- It is operated on a first come, first service basis.
- Scholarships are discounted from programmes' tuition fees.
