Agent Conference 2017

The University hosted a successful conference for international agents recently, attracting around 30 agents from three continents.

The four-day event, which took place in April, provided an opportunity for agents to meet with faculty and International Office staff, tour the University’s campuses, and experience Birmingham and its surroundings.

Agents from countries including Cyprus, Egypt, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam were in attendance.

The conference included interview sessions with staff from the University’s four faculties, tours of the University’s campuses and Birmingham, and an opportunity to view student accommodation. There was a presentation and discussion about UK Visas and Immigration issues, and a trip to Birmingham City University International College.

There were also visits to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Cadbury World.
