Originally from Malaysia, Nadira decided to study her Bachelor's at BCU, find out why she decided to come to Birmingham!

What first attracted you to BCU?

The feedback and responses from alumni on the website, the location of the city and it was the only university that offered a PR course in Birmingham.

What has been your best experience at BCU so far?

Being able to grab opportunities and volunteering for events, I also secured a flexible job in a free radio street team. My course is also really practical and has given me great media and PR exposure.

What advice would you give other international students from your country?

Take some time to explore the website as this allows you to have an overview of what and how your studies are going to be. Make the most of your time here if you are offered a place to study at BCU, it is a great opportunity!

What do you like about your course?

It’s practical and I get access to a lot of work experience, my course also allows me to get involved in events.

What is next for you?

I am planning to undertake a postgraduate degree and secure a job here, I would like to continue my learning and contribute to the PR and media industry around the world.
