Bibliography
This bibliography for the Diaspora Screen Media Network was compiled by DSMN member Isabella Skinner who works for the University of Auckland in New Zealand. The British South Asian Archives section of this bibliography was researched as part of a 10-week research project on ‘Media Transformations and Popular Music Archives’ last year and many of the written resources included were taken from various case studies within the project (in particular, Cornershop & British Asian Culture, and Black Female Vocalists in UK Music Historiography). The archives section features links to the numerous archives/exhibitions found in the UK and offers plenty of opportunity to learn more about British Asian music, film and other media.

Viewing Habits in Lockdown
The Diaspora Screen Media Network film 'Viewing Habits in Lockdown’ invited people who had been in lockdown or social isolation, to consider their screen media choices, habits and engagement with new media in ways they may not have done before. We conducted six interviews and asked each participant to give one to two examples of Black British and/or British Asian screen media that inspired, entertained or enhanced their lives through lockdown. The film is funded by University of Northampton Changemaker, and brought to you by the Diaspora Screen Media Network (DSMN)
