A person in a blue uniform and mask is kneeling to look at the leg of someone sitting in a blue chair. The seated person has a wound on their leg. Another person in blue gloves is holding the seated person's hand. They are inside a room with a sofa and a plant.

Hard to heal wounds pose significant challenges in clinical practice. Effective management requires a multidisciplinary approach, integrating evidence-based interventions, advanced wound care technologies, and holistic patient care.

This conference brings together experts, clinicians, and researchers to explore best practices and innovations in the management of wounds affecting the leg and foot and explores the challenges for wound healing in the frail population.

The event provides a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals dedicated to enhancing wound care.

The event is aimed at final year undergraduate and post-registration nursing, midwifery and allied healthcare students, and nursing and allied healthcare practitioners external to the university.
