This past academic year, journalism students at Birmingham School of Media setup a hyperlocal news site for the University's new home in the city's 'Eastside' district.
BirminghamEastside.com covered everything from investigations into local fuel poverty to photo-essays on nearby architecture.
The site was set up and maintained by the School's undergraduate and postgraduate students.
