A video created by students from the University is looking to address the shortage of women who choose to take up engineering as a career.
The students, from the School of Visual Communication, teamed up with the USA's largest engineering company Bechtel to produce a video in response to a live brief to create video content for a viral social media campaign.
The focus of the campaign is to celebrate the role of women in engineering and encourage more young people to take up engineering as a career. The campaign has been praised by the Department for Education who have promoted it online. The video was also nominated for a Video of the Day award.
Charmaine Stint, Programme Manager for EIBE (Enterprise, Innovation and Business Engagement), said:
