Computer Science and Informatics
Research in this area extends across the technologies, exploring some of the latest digital technologies, engineering systems and bio-energies. This work also informs our academic programmes, with emerging technologies and new developments ensuring that our courses remain relevant and up-to-date.
Projects include Knowledge Based Engineering, personalised interactive online video and low latency media on IP networks. We have excellent links with the industry and are heavily involved in Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), with clients including the Rolls Royce Aerospace Division.
