Members and partners

The Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC) and Birmingham City University's Children and Families and Communities Research Group (CHiFCo) work closely together to deliver advanced level academic qualifications for early years professionals at Level 7 and 8. This relationship is underpinned by an Academic Collaboration Agreement and facilitates the delivery of an MA in Education (Early Years) courses as well as a PG Cert in Teaching & Learning alongside CREC's own QTS programme for ITT students. CREC staff also jointly supervise a number of BCU PhD candidates and we regularly work closely on research bids.
