Structural Integrity

With sustainable materials such as cross-laminated timbers (CLT) gaining attention in recent years, the Structural Integrity research subgroup studies the application of these materials in engineering structures. The group investigates the behaviour of engineering material under low-cycle fatigue, such as traffic and seismic loads.

The group is undertaking a range of products, such as understanding the physical properties and performance of wood-frame structures built by CLT panels.
