Computational Modelling

Using computational and mathematical techniques to conduct innovative research.

The Computational Modelling research group conducts research in a variety of subject areas. Current activities include investigating nano-fluid heat transfer, vehicle aerodynamics, complex systems, hydrological modelling and more.

Additionally, the group is active in the fields of virtual, augmented and mixed reality applications within the context of knowledge-based engineering. Research is also carried out on developing interactive product design techniques, using computer technology and machine learning. The group has a strong record of using analytical, experimental and computational fluid dynamic methods to investigate internal and external aerodynamics.
