Supporting the research journey
Our researchers are supported by our Research Office, which is a collective of teams designed to facilitate every part of the research journey. This includes the Doctoral Research College, the Research Innovation Gateway team and the Research Excellence team.
Doctoral Research College
The Doctoral Research College (DRC) work in partnership with Postgraduate Research (PGR) students to support the doctoral research journey from application to graduation.
Research Innovation Gateway
The Research and Innovation Gateway team works across externally funded project lifecycles supporting key personnel in faculties and other Professional Services Directorates.
Research Excellence Team
The Research Excellence Team (RX) ensure that research at Birmingham City University is conducted in accordance with industry-standard levels of excellence and integrity.
