Carson Lloyd
Carson is a dual national of both the United States of America and the United Kingdom with an interest in both jurisdictions.
Carson holds a First-Class LLB (Honours) with a specialisation in American Legal Studies. She was awarded the Aspiring Researcher Bursary Award and obtained a distinction in her LLM Legal Practice. She has also been awarded the Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership. Post-PhD, Carson has aspirations to achieve a full-time academic position.
In 2022 Carson was an intern at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. Her comparative law report is one of the top ten viewed reports at the LLOC in 2023. She has also undertaken student research assistantships and held the position of senior editor at the British Journal for American Legal Studies.
